The project focuses on eligible downtown revitalization improvements within the Downtown business area. Proposed activities include exterior commercial façade repairs such as storefront updates, window and door replacement, masonry and stucco repair, exterior painting, and awning replacement. Structural stabilization of deteriorated building elements and exterior drainage improvements like guttering and downspouts may also be included, along with eligible system upgrades when they serve the full building and benefit the commercial portion. Public improvements being considered include sidewalk replacement, landscaping enhancements, accessibility, and the overall appearance of the downtown area. All work must comply with applicable state and federal CDBG requirements.
