Specifications include, but are not limited to: Planning 1. Coordinate with City Staff to: a) Evaluate aquatic park corridor at Hyde Park to assess the best approach for the pool house and location for the shallow water pool b) Evaluate Krug/Northside Complex pool for appropriate approach 2. Prepare concepts that incorporate existing features to remain and potential new features, including cost estimating, renderings, and site plans 3. Develop/refine concepts based on input from the Public, City staff and key decisionmakers a) Attend meetings and City Council worksessions b) Develop displays and other information required for public meetings and Council work sessions Design 1. Perform necessary topographic surveys, utility investigations, and geotechnical analysis to support design of selected features 2. Prepare design memorandum 3. Prepare comprehensive Construction Document for competitive bid, including all related disciplines 4. Provide documents for City review and comment at concept, preliminary and final design stages Bidding 1. Assist City with construction bidding and award process. Construction Administration 1. Attend meetings, including • Pre-construction • Monthly Progress Meetings • Substantial, final, and warranty walk-throughs 2. Construction • Submittals and shop drawings • Requests for Information or Clarification • Pay applications • Change order requests 3. Construction Inspection • Conduct periodic site visits • Inspect critical components.
