General Requirements: The contractor shall provide electronics system maintenance testing and repair services for the Department of Corrections in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein and to the sole satisfaction of the state agency. The contractor shall understand and agree that electronic systems shall include, but not limited to, intercom systems, nurse call systems, access control systems, fire alarms, and Human Machine Interface (HMI) security electronic door controls. The contractor shall perform all services to the sole satisfaction of the state agency. The contractor shall either provide the services directly or shall provide a person/personnel who must comply with the requirements stated herein. Therefore, references to “the contractor” throughout this document shall also be deemed to include the person/personnel provided by the contractor. The state agency reserves the right to observe any and all maintenance, testing, and repair services performed by the contractor. The contractor shall understand and agree that the state agency will have the authority to make spot inspections at any time to ensure contractor compliance with the standards and requirements. The contractor must take precaution at all times for the protection of persons and property. Contractor’s Obligation: Unless otherwise specified herein, the contractor shall furnish all material, labor, facilities, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform the services required herein. The contractor shall be held responsible for any and all damage to the buildings and premises, resulting from the contractor’s actions including, but not limited to, any damage caused by the improper use of tools, materials, and equipment. The contractor shall repair such damage at no cost to the state agency. Unless otherwise approved by the state agency, the contractor shall provide and scheduled services during state agency work hours, excluding state holidays.
