Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.1 KCPS will connect to Morenet (located at the University of Missouri Columbia via its Data Center located at LightEdge, 9050 NE Underground Dr Kansas City, MO 64161) for ISP services. The connectivity will be at 10 Gigabit (10 Gbps) to the KCPS Data Center (which will be located at LightEdge, 9050 NE Underground Dr Kansas City, MO 64161). 2.1.2 KCPS's Data Centers (located at LightEdge Data Center 9050 NE Underground Dr., Kansas City, MO 64161 and Caverns Data Center 17501 W 98th St., Pillar 8-56, Lenexa, KS 66219) are to serve as the aggregate points for the network. The service may be delivered to the aggregate point at the design of the service provider as long as the minimum specified bandwidth is delivered. KCPS is open to other configurations. 2.1.3 Proposals must include the attached pricing worksheet. Include the installation (one time) costs and monthly (ongoing) costs for all sites. 2.1.4 The Minimum Point of Entry (MPOE) and Demarcation point at each site shall be determined by the KCPS Information Technology Department. All cost proposals must include pricing to install services to the MPOE, Demarcation point, and location of network equipment at each site. All sites shall terminate on a Gigabit (fiber-based) handoff. 2.1.5 Any network outage resolution shall be coordinated with the KCPS Information Technology Department. 2.1.6 An uptime guarantee of 99.999% or better shall be provided on a 24-hour basis on average over a seven day period. 2.1.7 The circuits shall be capable of carrying multiple data services such as computer networks, voice over IP, digital video, etc. 2.1.8 All equipment necessary to provide this connectivity shall be provided with no option of transfer of ownership to KCPS. 2.1.9 All vendor equipment installed shall be under repair maintenance at no cost to KCPS for the full duration of the contract agreement.
