Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Social Services (DSS), requires a contract to deliver the Distribution of Funding to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) to assist FQHCs in their mission to provide high quality comprehensive health care to the medically underserved, under the Public Health Services Act, Section 330 (f) (1), and Section 333 (4) subparagraphs (A) and (B) funding. The Missouri Primary Care Association (MPCA) is the only professional organization that is a federally recognized Primary Care Association in the State of Missouri. MPCA is the only statewide entity assisting FQHCs with Health Center development, patient engagement and care coordination, service and oral health expansion, provider recruitment, population health management support, data analytics and management, community health worker activities, women and minority health outreach, and financial and operational performance improvement support. Additionally, MPCA is the only statewide entity that has developed a centralized data warehouse and reporting tool, which is connected to FQHC electronic health records, electronic dental records, and practice management systems. Furthermore, MPCA is authorized to oversee and represent the entirety of the State of Missouri FQHCs, since all State of Missouri FQHCs are members of the Missouri Primary Care Association.
