Demolition of structures and cleaning of areas at the following locations: • 1710 Wall Ave • 1316 S Pearl Ave • 1258 W 9th St • 1217 E 2nd St. • Contacting the utility companies to retire the necessary utilities (natural gas, water, and/or electricity) prior to demolition; then following, properly cap all utilities with approved product for the type of utility (gas, sewer and water) at least 30 inches below natural grade. • Notify the City of Joplin building division of the date of the demolition as photos will need to be taken by an inspector the day of and prior to the demolition. • Demolition contractors are responsible for the removal and proper disposal of all structures, foundations, footings including sidewalks, driveways, concrete slabs, dead trees, stumps and debris. • Fill all low areas (after removal of all flooring, footings and foundations) to natural grade elevation compacted to approximate existing density then seeding all disturbed ground and covering with straw • Notifying the Department of Natural Resources of demolition projects involving regulated structures, regardless of whether asbestos is found, at least 10 working days before the start of the project
