Demolition of Abandoned Houses – Provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to demolish, haul away material, backfill, grade, and overseed abandoned house lot owned by the City of Blue Springs. The contractor must provide all safety equipment required to complete the job. Debris removed from the property must be disposed of legally and fully to bring job to finality. Final approval by the Superintendent must be made prior to invoicing. Both properties must be demolished, hauled away, backfilled, graded, and seeded to complete job. Both houses are abandoned and once given the approval to begin work, anything inside the property is subject to be demolished and hauled away. Both lots must be seeded with a construction grade grass seed consisting of fescue/ryegrass mix, Superintendent will approve of seed prior to seeding. The city will provide proper documentation showing the house has had an asbestos abatement along with the removal and documentation of all utilities by respective utility companies. Work cannot begin until both of these steps are completed.
