During a de-icing operation, the HCTRA will make available, for use by the contractor, equipment consisting of ten (10) Henderson spreaders (Model #FSH-1), 11.6 cubic yard capacity, eighteen (18) HP engine, fourteen (14) foot long, seven (7) foot wide and five (5) foot high. The contractor will be required to provide the following for the de-icing services: 1. The contractor shall provide ten (10) trucks capable of safely carrying and securing ten (10) HCTRA spreaders which hold approximately twelve (12) cubic yards of sand/salt mixture for total load weight of approximately forty thousand (40,000) pounds with wet materials. The recommended clear distance from the cab or hydraulic ram box to the axle trunnion is one hundred and eight (108) inches.
