Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide the design services in collaboration with the selected Construction Manager. The Construction Manager will be selected in early 2024. The Joint Operations Facility will include functions housed in a weather-hardened location, such as a communications center, emergency operations center, IT server room, and traffic operations. Other program spaces include fire department administrative offices, IT offices, training spaces, breakout rooms, and media/production rooms. Interested firms, or groups of firms, should prepare a response that addresses the following information: Experience and availability of key personnel; Experience on similar projects involving: Multi-story structures Weather-hardened structures Site development or redevelopment of parcel +/- approximately 3 acres; Specialty consultants to address the communications center, especially radio system experience with MARS; Specialty consultants to address low-voltage A/V; Specialty consultants to address the emergency operations center; Responsiveness and application of best practices; Project approach/work plan; Critical issues and approaches to solutions; Quality of projects previously undertaken and capability to complete projects without having major cost escalations or overruns; and Experience utilizing the CMR project delivery method.
