Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Taney County Purchasing Department is accepting and reviewing all responses to this RFB for DE-ICING MATERIALS for the Taney County Road & Bridge Department. 5.1 Work to be done under this contract shall consist of furnishing various materials used by the county for ice control. 5.2 All materials shall be in accordance with the latest appropriate requirements of the Standard Specifications of the Missouri Department of Transportation. 5.3 Taney County reserves the right to have the materials tested for quality at our expense and to take whatever remedial action that may be required. 5.4 Tests would be run to verify compliance with the applicable specifications. 5.5 All material is bid F.O.B. at the Taney County Road and Bridge Maintenance facilities. 5.6 Pricing MUST include delivery to the Taney County Road & Bridge Department locations as detailed within the following specifications. 5.7 By virtue of statutory authority, the Purchasing Director shall give preference to all commodities manufactured, mined, produced, or grown within the State of Missouri, and to all firms, corporations or individuals, when quality is equal or better and delivered price is the same / less. 5.8 Similar preference will be given to Taney County products and supplies. 5.9 Once awarded a subsequent contract is expected to remain in place for one year, (12) months unless, otherwise ordered by the Taney County Commission, with a one year renewal option. 5.10 For questions concerning ALL listed specifications, or ALL technical questions, the below “Department Point of Contact” MUST be contacted:
