Specifications include, but are not limited to: Southeast Missouri State University is requesting bids for de-icing bulk rock salt. 1. Louisiana rock salt in bulk treated with anti-caking agent for ice control. 1.1 The contractor shall deliver the bulk rock salt to the University in bulk loads. 1.2 Each load must contain approximately 25 - 35 tons. 1.3 The contractor shall unload material into the storage bin located in General Services 4. 1.4 The University anticipates using 75 tons per year, subject to the actual amount of rock salt required by the University. 2. Quantities are approximate and are subject to the actual amount required by the University. 3. Deliveries are to be made as requested by the Facilities Management department. 4. Deliveries shall be made within 24 hours after receipt of the order. 5. The University reserves the right to not purchase all items, dependent upon prices quoted or changed needs.
