1.6. DUSTING a) File cabinets, copy machines, bookshelves, tables, and other furniture will be dusted with a treated dust cloth weekly. b) Low dusting of chair rails and legs, desk, and table legs, baseboards, ledges, vents, etc. will be done monthly. c) High dusting of ledges, picture frames, door frames, vents, etc. will be done monthly. 1.7. DESKS Desk tops shall be dusted with a treated dust cloth each service and polished or damp whipped as needed. Papers left on desk will not be disturbed. Desk accessories including screens (if turned off), calculators, calendars, letter trays, etc. will be dusted weekly. 1.8. TELEPHONES Telephones shall be dusted daily and sanitized weekly. 1.9. WINDOW SILLS Windowsills shall be dusted weekly. 1.10. MINIBLINDS Mini-blinds shall be dusted weekly 1.11. UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE All upholstered furniture shall be vacuumed monthly. 1.12. MICROWAVE/MACHINES Machines shall be spot cleaned each service and damp wiped weekly. 1.13. VINYL FURNITURE All vinyl furniture shall be cleaned, sanitized and polished each service. 1.14. CARPETS Carpets shall be vacuumed each service with a commercial power vacuum in all open areas and traffic ways. All carpeting will be thoroughly vacuumed daily including kneeholes of desks, behind doors, under and behind movable furniture and equipment. (Does not include handpicking staples from the carpet.) Edges and corners shall be vacuumed monthly, or as needed. Small spots will be removed weekly, excessive spot removal expected. (For stem/shampoo cleaning, see list of specialized services) 1.15. TILE FLOORS a) Tile floors shall be thoroughly swept with a treated dust mop. b) Complete mopping shall be done daily. 1.16. WALLS Marks and smudges shall be removed from walls as long as their removal does not spoil the the general appearance of the walls. 1.17. ENTRANCE & RECEPTION AREAS Special attention shall be given to this area to insure a favorable impression on everyone who enters our facility. 1.18. FLOORS Floors shall be vacuumed or swept and damp mopped each service. 1.19. RESTROOMS a) Toilet bowls, toilet seats, urinals and sinks shall be cleaned and sanitized each service. b) Bright metal shall be cleaned and polished each service. 1.20. LUNCHROOM, KITCHEN, AND COFFEE AREAS a) Sweep floors, remove trash, clean and sanitize tabletops and microwave appliances daily. b) Mop weekly.
