The contractor shall deliver and transport boiler to mechanical room via an existing ramp o Ramp dimensions – 4’ wide, 9’ clear height o Side rails on ramp can be removed. Contractor must reassemble rails if removed. See Exhibit C Drain down Two (2) existing boilers in the mechanical room and set up rigging materials for their removal and replacement. The contractor is to disconnect piping and electrical from the Two (2) existing boilers and salvage onsite. Electrical wires to be removed to nearest disconnect or breaker. Install new disconnect to 4x4 junction box not on boiler. Remove Two (2) existing circulating pumps and install One (1) new factory supplied circulating pump. Supply and install new pressure gauges with isolation valves pre and post circulating pump Remove pump flange and install brass cap. Remove Two (2) existing check valves and install new check valve. Remove boiler flue to nearest overhead connection and cap unused flue. Supply and install new flue as required. Contractor will be responsible for providing any additional piping and associated parts necessary to make all proper connections and adjustments to connect the new boiler. This includes but not limited to increasing gas supply line, flue pipe, increase water supply lines all electrical to the boiler and all required pumps. Any piping or conduit that needs to be moved or re-routed to accommodate the new boiler is the responsibility of the Contractor. Any valves that are necessary to isolate this equipment that are not already in place must be included as part of this project. The contractor is responsible for insulation of pipes to match existing. All work is to be done by licensed plumber and/or pipefitter. All electrical work is to be done by a licensed electrician. Fill boiler and check operations. Existing boilers to be salvaged onsite. All miscellaneous items related to the replacement of the equipment should be disposed of in a contractor procured dumpster and removed from the site. Job site must be left clean and free of any part and debris once completed. Alternate 1 - Install owner provided new Armstrong digital recirculation valve DRV80 including all wiring and piping that is required.
