The City of Columbia, City Utilities department, (hereinafter referred to as City) is seeking to obtain the services of a contractor to provide plumbing construction services to private residences and/or commercial sites. Requested services may include repair or replacement of sanitary sewer service lines by excavation and/or trenchless methods, repair of service connections, and the repairs to yard, drives, walks or streets due to excavation, new construction and emergency services for City owned facilities, private violations involving sump pumps, footing drains, area drains, driveway drains, and window well drains that may be improperly connected to the City sanitary sewer collection system and a violation has been issued to the property owner. As well as a contractor to provide mechanical repair, maintenance, and installation services for the City of Columbia Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and its corresponding lift/pump stations. Work shall include all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to ensure the reliable operation of mechanical systems involved in the conveyance, treatment, and management of sewage effluent. Scope of Work (SOW) encompasses pipefitting, valve repair/replacement, pump maintenance/installation, and related mechanical tasks critical to wastewater infrastructure
