Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFP is to explore the feasibility of and recommend options for modernizing the current Workers’ Compensation System – a mix of in-house, custom developed, applications that have been built over a period of 20+ years. The current system is antiquated, becoming unstable, is not responsive to the needs of internal users and external stakeholders, and is difficult to maintain. This feasibility study will achieve the following three objectives: Current State: Complete an analysis of the current Workers’ Compensation System, including business processes, current system technical design and functionality, workflow and scanning processes, and reports; Future State: Determine and prioritize future state business and high-level design requirements for an online system; and Technology Options: Provide an analysis of technology options, including estimated total cost of ownership, timeframe, and recommendations, for implementation of and migration to a future online system, including mobile access.
