The City of St. Louis Department of Human Services is soliciting proposals from qualified non profit organizations, that have approved 501 c 3 designation within the State of Missouri, to provide Community Mediation Services for Dispute Resolution, free for the residents of the City of St. Louis. The City intends to award a contract for services which will facilitate a way to constructively discuss differences, resolve conflicts and reconcile transgressions for the residents, community leaders, businesses, elected officials, police, fire and other employees of the City of St. Louis. Community Mediation is a proven, cost effective, confidential, problem-solving process where parties in a dispute, voluntarily work together under the guidance of a trained mediator to reach a solution, through communications to resolve disputes in ways that promote respect, common goals and fosters work to keep relationships in tact.
