Gateway Region Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) is the only vendor in the Greater St. Louis area that is partnered with the American Heart Association to provide the Center for Disease Control recommended blood pressure self-monitoring training, one-on-one consultations with a Lifestyle Coach, and individualized support and nutrition education for better blood pressure management. Gateway Region YMCA’s Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring (BPSM) program is an evidenced-based program and is uniquely designed to help adults with hypertension to lower and manage their blood pressure. Gateway Region YMCA will collaborate with the American Heart Association to deliver the BPSM program initiative. Gateway Region YMCA is the only entity capable of delivering the BPSM to the Greater St. Louis area.
