Awarded contractor will complete all aspects of demolition and construction for this turnkey project to create a separate server room area within the existing office spaces as described in these documents and plan set. This site is mainly in use Monday – Friday by City Staff and authorized visitors. Staff members and authorized visitors will be conducting normal operations during the entirety of this project. City project manager will work with the awarded bidder to establish a plan that minimizes significant disruption for the location. Governing standards for all work being performed Bid must include all labor, materials and equipment to perform the work described within Section L. The city has elected to provide select materials as listed in these documents, The provision of all other materials necessary to complete this scope are the bidder’s responsibility. Standards and Regulations: All work must conform to the requirements listed below: A. IBC- International Building Code B. NFPA 70- NEC- National Electric Code C. IMC- International Mechanical Code D. ASTM- American Society for Testing and Materials E. AHJ- Authority having Jurisdiction F. ADA – Americans with Disabilities Act G. IFC – International Fire Code H. AISI – American Iron and Steel Institute Site Coordination/Conditions: During construction it will be necessary to ensure Access and Life Safety Egress to/from the site. The city will provide a dumpster during construction for demolition and construction debris, placed on pavement on our facility lot. The entire project will be completed in a section of the building that has a Tate® raised panel flooring system. Prior to work commencing city staff will remove any furniture, fixtures and equipment (See Note Below) to provide access for construction activities. Awarded bidder shall meet with project manager 1 week prior to construction starting to ensure site is accessible and prepared for construction for the contractor. Note: Servers will remain active within the project area during all facets of construction scope. Contractor must take precautions to limit generation of dust and debris. If required, temporary lighting in the construction area must be provided by the contractor and is considered incidental to the project
