6.2. The Consultant must supply appropriately trained Security Guards under a tiered staffing approach, and when recruitment is sufficient. The parties acknowledge and agree that the goal is for Consultant, using best efforts in recruitment and retention, to achieve a minimum of fifteen (15) Security Guards for 24-hour security guard service per day, seven (7) days a week, including Holidays as defined in Section 45.G. 6.3. Consultant shall provide the Commissioner, no less than seven (7) calendar days in advance, a weekly schedule of Security Guard staffing. 6.4. The Consultant shall provide security services including, but not limited to, at pedestrian and vehicle gates and access points, employee inspection services, employee screening services, vehicle screening services, patrols, perimeter inspections, alarm response, CCTC monitoring, assisting with emergencies, ID badging services & verification, traffic management and parking control, assistance with escort services for restricted area access, physical security inspections/patrols/badge checks, inspection of delivered goods, dispatch services, temperature screening, and other related security and support functions in support of the City Justice Center’s security programs and/or emergency response, ordered in writing by the Commissioner. 6.5. The Security Guards and Security Supervisor provided by Consultant pursuant to this Agreement SHALL NOT be engaged nor utilized for inmate cell extractions in any capacity. 6.6. The Consultant will identify a single point pf contact and an alternate point of contact through which all information concerning security service can be communicated to and from the Commissioner. 6.7. Consultant shall provide new and complete personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper uniforms of the type and style dictated by local weather conditions, CDC & City Department of Health standards and said uniforms must be approved in writing by the Commissioner. It is acknowledged and agreed between the parties that City will provide uniform shirts so that Security Guards and Security Supervisors will match as closely as reasonable to City Corrections’ uniforms; Consultant shall provide, at its own expense, as the balance of the uniform. Uniform expenses will be included in the hourly rate itemization and is not to be considered a part of the Consultant’s employees’ wages in the uniform allowance. The authorized uniform, approved by the Commissioner, must be provided at Consultant’s expense with no cost to the Consultant’s employees.
