Scope OF WORKa.Conduct a detailed analysis or relevant court cases and rulings emphasizingmethodological requirements. b. Identify the categories of contracts for goods, services and construction typically awardedby the County, the numbers of contracts and dollar amounts spent in each category foryears 2003 - 2008;c.Define the relevant geographic market for assessing the availability of Minority andwoman owned businesses that might participate in the County's contracts. Specificanalysis shall be conducted to determine whether to consider businesses within Claytoncounty, o r in the Metropolitan Atlanta, area. .Determine the availability of Minority and woman owned businesses ready to perform (byethnic group, gender, and capacity) in the relevant market area for each category of goods,services and construction procured by the County.In analyzing availability, thesuccessful proposer shall precisely define its measure of availability; and provide firmsused to calculate availability. E.Analyze the contracting and procurement data of the County for a relevant period andcalculate the share of contracts awarded to Minority , woman, and non- Minority ownedbusinesses as either prime or subcontractors.
