A qualified Missouri licensed lead abatement contractor will perform removal, handling, and disposal of all lead containing components and paint chips. The lead abatement contractor must be pre-approved in writing by the project manager before the project is released. All Notices shall be the responsibility of the Lead Abatement Contractor. Workers and Occupants shall be protected using procedures performed in compliance with the HUD Guidelines, OSHA, and EPA Regulations. Site cleanup and the passage of Clearance tests will be required before payment will be made. Set up a catch/containment area around the exterior using 6-mil poly extending out from the foundation 15', or as far out as practical for the collection and disposable of paint chips and dust.
