Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Economic Development (DED) requires support in the development of broadband modeling and engineering feasibility plans and broadband technical assistance in the form of engineering consulting. As co-applicants on an Economic Development Administration grant, the DED and the Missouri Association of Councils of Government (MACOG) were each awarded half of the grant funding. In order to prevent a duplication of effort and resources, it is imperative that the DED’s grant funding be granted to MACOG to ensure continuity of services. MACOG is the only feasible source from which to acquire the services since they have already been directly awarded half of the grant funding. As a result, this represents a proprietary requirement that meets the criteria as a single feasible source under RSMo 34.044 and the State is pursuing this acquisition as a Single Feasible Source.
