The Missouri Office of Broadband Development (OBD) intends to engage a vendor for broadband field validation services using Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BE AD) program funding within the state. The vendor would support the state agency with developing a plan for risk-based monitoring identifying broadband field validation needs; then, perform grant build-out verification in areas where BEAD Subgrantees (broadband providers, i.e. internet service providers (ISPs)) have been awarded BEAD projects and an independent review is needed to confirm the completion of expected built-out application areas. Field validation of service delivery is part of the state's plan for Oversight and Accountability Processes to ensure robust BEAD Subgrantee monitoring, a key BEAD program requirement.
