The contractor shall provide boom mowing services on an as needed, if needed basis on various conservation areas located within the Department's Osage Plains District (Osage Plains District includes St. Clair, Vernon, Bates, and Cass County, Missouri) in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein. The contractor shall cut limbs, over hanging branches, and other woody growth along multiuse trails, field edges, levees, field trails, and access roads on areas specified by the Department. The implement must have horizontal, vertical and below horizon capabilities. The contractor shall cut tree limbs, over hanging branches and other woody growth along multiuse trails, field edges, levees, field trails, and access roads to a minimum height of twenty (20) feet. The Department shall confirm the machine hour reading prior to the commencement and at the conclusion of any activity. In the event a resolution cannot be achieved, the Department reserves the right to cancel with the contractor and seek alternative contractors. The contractor must cease working when visitors are in close proximity to the contractors' equipment and will continue only when that person or persons has moved a safe distance from the cutting area..
