The contractor shall provide boom mowing services on an as needed, if needed basis on various conservation areas located within the Department's Lone Buffalo District (Lone Buffalo District Area includes Benton, Pettis, Henry and Jonhson County, Missouri) in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein. The contractor shall cut limbs, over hanging branches, and other woody growth along multiuse trails, field edges, levees, field trails, and access roads on areas specified by the Department. The Department will make an effort to schedule services on areas that are in close proximity to each other to prevent unnecessary travel by the contractor. The contractor must perform services using a boom mower or other equivalent mechanized equipment that has the capability of cutting branches up to six (6) inches in diameter. The implement must have horizontal, vertical and below horizon capabilities.
