St. Louis County is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide the County with both of the following listed bulk fuel products, no exceptions are allowed or will be considered: A. Unleaded Gasoline: Unleaded Gasoline must be non-blended pipeline quality regular reformulated unleaded gasoline with a multifunction additive designed to provide injection/carburetor detergency and rust protection without causing undesirable side effects, while providing injection/carburetor cleanliness needed to assure proper fuel metering for smooth engine operations and maximum economy with a minimum octane level of 87on a contractual basis. B. Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel: The base Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel furnished to St. Louis County must meet or exceed Federal Interstate Pipeline specifications. The Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel must be in accordance with ASTM D-975 specifications for Fuel Oils. 5.1.2 Actual purchases will be made as needed from an open-end contract, which will be awarded as a result of this bidding. The County will agree to pay the contractor the Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) average price per gallon plus or minus the overhead, profit, and transportation per gallon charge, as indicated by the contractor, if any. 5.1.3 Contractor must have administration offices and delivery operations facilities located in the greater St. Louis Metropolitan area; no exemptions will be considered or allowed.
