5.11 CURTAIN & HOIST SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS 5.11.1. One(1) Athletic vertical Fold-Up stack curtain approximately 93’3” wide x 54’ tall. Contractor to verify height to rafters and all product sizes. 5.11.1.1: Bottom 9’ Section: The lower 9’ section to be solid vinyl-coated polyester, 18 oz/sq. yd, flame retardant, available in manufacturer’s standard colors. 5.11.1.2: Upper Section: Black or grey Mesh (9 oz/sq. yd open weave) for ventilation and visibility. Seams: Heat-sealed or double-stitched, vertical seams only. No horizontal seams in the main body of the curtain. 5.11.1.3 Electric motor-driven, key-switch controlled operation. Contractor to provide motors. 5.11.2 An alternate is available in the ebid system for a 7’ tall “University of Central Missouri” branding and Mule head logo to be applied on both sides of the vinyl. 5.11.3 Support Frame: Factory-welded steel tube or angle iron frame. Mounting: Directly suspended from building structural members via approved methods (clamps, threaded rod, Unistrut, etc.). All hardware to be corrosion-resistant. 5.11.4. All labor and materials must be included in pricing (wiring, conduit, lifts, delivery, shipping, etc.) 5.11.4.1 Installation of key switch. 5.11.4.2 Provide alternative pricing for touch screen in lieu of key switch. 5.12 METAL RIGGING HOIST REQUIREMENTS 5.12.1. Contractor shall supply and install hoist and all accessories for lifting and lowering metal rigging frame and fabric room dividers. 5.12.2 The following metal rigging sizes will need to be hoisted: • East Side Rigging ~137 feet • West Side Rigging ~137 feet • South Side Rigging~230 feet – Alternative pricing. 5.12.2.2 Electric motor-driven, key-switch controlled operation. Installer to provide motors. 5.12.2.3 Installation of key switch. 5.12.2.4 Provide alternative pricing for touch screen in lieu of key switch 5.12.3. All labor and materials must be included in pricing (wiring, conduit, lifts, delivery, shipping, etc.) 5.13 Contractor shall provide thorough operational training to owner's representative upon completion. 5.14 Contractor shall operate all systems through at least five (5) complete up/down cycles. Verify smooth operation, correct alignment, proper stacking, and safety features. 5.15 Contractor shall verify that structural support is adequate, and mounting locations are free of obstructions before installation begins. 5.16 Contractor shall install per manufacturer’s recommendations, aligned and plumb. All systems must operate freely with no binding or undue wear.
