Specifications include, but are not limited to: • The average daily deposit is greater than $100,000. • All of our checks are scanned into Laser-Fiche before being deposited and maker information can be retrieved if the checks are lost or stolen. • The Armored Courier should park their vehicle in front of the MSD building at the Market Street entrance. • Armored Courier personnel should be armed in the performance of their duties. • Service is not required on bank recognized holidays. There are ten (10) holidays when MSD is closed including the following: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Thanksgiving Friday, and Christmas Day. Also, Juneteenth has been considered a holiday the previous two years. • The earliest acceptable time for the carrier to pick up is 8:30. a.m. The MSD offices close at 4:30 p.m. • Normally there is only one (1) bag to pick up for deposit on a daily basis.
