Description

The Saint Louis Zoo (Zoo) Facilities Management Division is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced waste management firms to provide comprehensive waste, recycling, and compost hauling services for Saint Louis Zoo Forest Park and WildCare Park on an exclusive-use basis. The successful contractor will furnish all equipment, containers, labor, vehicles, materials, and supervision necessary to perform these services in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal environmental regulations. The initial term of the contract will be two (2) years, with the option to extend for two (2) additional one-year periods upon mutual agreement by both parties. All pricing must remain firm for the duration of the initial contract term.

A pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at 10:00 a.m. CST on October 22, 2025 in the Myron Glassberg Family Maintenance Center conference room located in the Facilitates Management compound. Bidders should park in the north parking lot to meet at Gate 5 by 9:50 a.m. CST for entry and escort to the conference room. Bidders are highly encouraged to attend and will receive a voucher to exit the lot. Additional site visits will only be granted to attendees of this meeting.
