Specifications include, but are not limited to: Tobii Pro Glasses 2, a wearable and mobile eye-tracking system, will allow us to capture realtime gaze data about where participants are looking while communicating remotely and solving complex problems without limiting their movements. The data will provide us insights into how people interact with their environment, what catches their attention, drives their behavior, and influences decision making. With a unique first-person perspective and true measurement of visual attention and cognitive engagement, we will use Pro Glasses 2 to gain important insights into collaborative communication over long distances. Tobii Pro Glasses 2 package allows full spectrum of qualitative and quantitative research. In addition to qualitative live viewing tools, this package also includes tools for comprehensive post-analysis: you can aggregate data, create visualizations, and calculate statistics. Tobii Pro Glasses 2 are available in two sampling rates, 50Hz and 100Hz, with the option for Live View Wireless streaming of the participant’s gaze recording in real time along with the option to play back the recording to analyze the video. The glasses are 45g, extremely sleek, lightweight, and comfortable, allowing participants to slide the glasses on like a normal pair of specs. The glasses must be connected to the recording unit (about the size of two stacked iPhones), which is the power source of the glasses. In this recording unit is a battery, an SD card, and a TTL port for sync in/out with external physiological data streams. The SD card stores about 8 hours’ worth of video, audio, and gaze coordinates for later analysis. The battery lasts around 90 minutes, and three batteries and a charging port are provided. It is optional for researchers to purchase the prescription lens kit. A range of diopters is offered, so a study can include participants that normally wear prescription glasses. You simply unclip the standard lens on the glasses and clip in the appropriate prescription lens based on the participant. Participants who wear contacts can be included with no extra accessories. This equipment is being purchased as part of a grant received to complete a research project. Tobii Pro Glasses 2 Premium Wearable eye tracker is designed to capture natural viewing behavior while the participants are moving around. In addition to qualitative live viewing tools, this package also includes tools for comprehensive post-analysis: you can aggregate data, create visualizations, and calculate statistics. We are interested in measuring listening effort, and this equipment will yield pupillometry data which is a highly sensitive measure of listening effort
