Specifications include, but are not limited to: a.Endurance: continuous, autonomous hydrographic survey operations at speeds of seven knots in open ocean conditions for a period of up to four (4) days and at three (3) knots up to 10 days without refueling or hard‐wired data transfer. Vessel should have a top speed of at least 10 knots. b.Technical Specifications: 1kw payload power, Yanmar 57 hp diesel engine or greater, max weight of 2,500 pounds with winch (excluding trailer) c. Keel‐cooled, close loop cooling system. d.A vessel, when fully loaded, is sufficiently stable and quiet to collect hydrographic data to appropriate International Hydrographic Organization Standards. e.USV control software must be compatible with University of New Hampshire Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping’s hydrographic survey development USV software for research continuity and consistency purposes. f.An appropriately climate controlled and weather proof enclosure for the electronics associated with multi beam and side scan echo sounders, inertial measuring unit, precision navigation system, data acquisition system, data processing system, and communication system.
