Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Vendor will provide staffing for events where the Department of Student Housing deems it necessary. This could include, but is not limited to fall semester move-in and orientation, as well as unforeseen events that could require extra security. The Vendor providing these services will ensure that these qualifications are met by their staff. a. All employees must be at least 18 years of age. b. All employee qualifications must be verified with proper documentation. c. All employees are required to undergo background checks that must be performed by an approved University vendor. Background checks from pervious companies may not be considered valid. All background checks must be completed and provided to the Department of Student Housing before personnel are allowed to work on University Property. d. The number of personnel required for any given day or event could be as many as sixty. e. Each assignment would require a planning meeting between the vendor and the Department of Student Housing to determine the number of personnel needed and the hours required. f. All documentation and necessary training must be completed before workers are eligible to work for the University. The University must possess said documentation 48 hours prior to the employee being scheduled to work. g. All personnel must have demonstrated local knowledge of campus. 2. Vendor(s) will provide proper uniforms for all scheduled employees. 3. Vendor(s) will ensure that proper behavior is exhibited by their employees. Employees are expected to be courteous, neat, and clean while on duty. Employees should be attentive and standing-prepared for duty at all times. Cell phone use while on duty is strictly prohibited unless it is the case of an emergency. Tobacco use while on campus and in uniform will not be tolerated and is grounds for immediate dismissal. Additionally, all employees are subject to university rules and regulations while on university property. 4. The Department of Student Housing is not fiscally responsible for transportation to or from campus for any vendor employees. 5. Vendor(s) will provide supervisor for every event proportionate to the number of employees present. This number will be agreed upon by The Department of Student Housing and the Vendor(s). 6. The Department of Student Housing and the successful bidder will designate in writing the full name of individuals who shall have full authority to act for, and on behalf, or their principals, with respect to all matters arising from this agreement.
