This document contains the minimum technical specification required for the required upgrades and modifications to one of USM’s SeaTrac 4.8 m USVs. This will include a deep-water keel and heavy weather package, an upgraded battery, and high-band width satellite communications package. III. General USV upgraded system specifications. 1. Updated heavy weather deep keel and deflector skegs shall be provided and integrated on to USM’s SeaTrac SP-48 USV. 2. The length of this keel shall be at least 5 m and be manufactured out of aluminum. 3. The hull modifications shall also all the standard SeaTrac’s short keel to also be attached to the modified hull. 4. The vendors shall modify the current SP-38 trailer to incorporate the larger SP-48 keel system. 5. Aan upgraded battery pack shall be provided that is compatible with the current SP-48 integration and cable connections. 6. This battery shall be 36V with a minimum of 300AH capacity. 7. A Starlink Mini Satellite communications system shall be provided and integrated into the current SP-48 SeaTac system. ...
