The University of Mississippi (UM) seeks proposals in response to this Request for Proposal from qualified vendors to provide on-demand ride sharing services that will be fully operational by October 1, 2025. UM desires to offer a flat-rate, discounted, on-demand transportation program (Program) to provide University students (Students) with a safe, affordable, and convenient transportation option. The successful offeror must be a reliable and reputable industry leading real-time demand-response rideshare provider with a successful history of providing similar service to other large urban universities. The Program must provide a smartphone-based application which provides a simple user interface allowing riders to easily hail a ride, efficiently dispatches drivers, and provides timely rides at a flat-rate discounted fee, to be paid by the University.
