Specifications include, but are not limited to: We are equipping our first vehicle with License Plate Recognition (LPR) software and hardware. All this data will be seamlessly integrated into T2's Flex parking management system already on campus. This will allow for the eventual end to physical permits and be used for enforcement of our parking lots at more efficient pace. Through AutoVu’s Pay-By-Plate Sync plugin, AutoVu dynamically pulls permit information from T2 Flex based on time, day, and permit zone. This information is stored in Security Center, the back-office software of the AutoVu solution used to manage vehicles, permits and zones, and to generate reports. Security Center then synchronizes the latest lists with parking enforcement vehicles running AutoVu Patroller, the in-vehicle software of the AutoVu solution. When a parking infraction is detected, AutoVu ensures the validity of the hit by contacting the T2 Flex server and verifying if a permit has been granted to the vehicle since the last permit list refresh. This robust integration minimizes citation disputes while maintaining ease of use
