Purchase of all commodities, equipment and supplies of every kind and character used by the county and its departments and the five supervisors' districts of the county, including, but not limited to, rough lumber and pilings per state and federal highway specifications, finished lumber, sand, rough gravel, and washed gravel, crushed seal aggregate equivalent to state aid specifications, chip seal, slag, all sizes of rip-rap, hot mix asphalt, cold mix asphalt, other asphalt products, asphalt laydown, bridge supplies, concrete, janitorial supplies, grader blades, tires, batteries, anti-freeze, gasoline, bio-diesel fuel, diesel fuel (bidders for gasoline and diesel fuel are requested, but not required, to give quotes on tanker loads), oils and greases, traffic signs, road name signs, and other commodities
