Erosion Control measures on J.E. Perkins Road in Forrest County, Mississippi
This project consists of all labor and materials to restore and stabilize the channel and exposed waterline along J. E. Perkins Road in Forrest County, Mississippi. Rock riprap and Concrete Grout will be installed for approximately 175 feet to stabilize and protect the streambanks and utilities. All disturbed areas will be graded to provide positive drainage and seeded/mulched to provide permanent vegetative cover (see Attachment A & B Specifications/Drawings for details).
***Per Clause 52.228-13 Alternative payment Protections, the contractor shall submit a form of payment protection after award***
The solicitation is set aside for Total Small Business.
In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is between $25,000 through $100,000.
A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated.
A site visit will be on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 10:00 am CST.

In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, performance and payment bonds are required for any construction exceeding $150,000. For proposals between $35,000 and 150,000, the Contracting Officer requires a payment bond and an irrevocable letter of credit (ILC). The contractor will have 10 calendar days after award to satisfy this requirement.
