Lift Station River Run Rehabilitation Project generally involves the complete rehabilitation of the existing River Run lift station located at the corner of 78th Street and Capwood Avenue. The Base Bid project includes the replacement of submersible pumps, internal piping, electrical control, instrumentation, generator, and replacing the valve vault with above ground piping and valves. Site improvements include installation of new chain link fence, access gate, and covering the entire site with concrete. The existing wet well and receiving manhole are to be cleaned, repaired as needed, and relined. Contractor must inspect existing pipe between receiving manhole and wet well to determine if lining is needed for rehabilitation. Existing odor control units, gravity pipelines, and forcemain are to remain.
