SCOPE OF WORK (From IFB No. [Insert IFB Number]) The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the complete cutting, removal, and disposal of designated trees. Services shall include: Tree Felling and Removal: Safe felling, delimbing, and cutting of designated trees. The specific trees and their locations will be identified by the County Road Manager or their designee on a work-order basis. Stump heights shall be managed as follows: o In maintained residential yards: Stumps shall be cut as close to the ground as is safely and practically possible, not to exceed six (6) inches in height. o In all other areas (e.g., ditches, non-residential right-of-way): Stumps shall be left at a height of approximately one (1) foot for visibility, unless otherwise directed by the Road Manager. o Any deviation from these standards requires prior approval from the County Road Manager. Debris Hauling and Disposal: All logs, limbs, brush, and other debris resulting from the tree removal operations shall be loaded and legally hauled away from the site by the contractor. No debris is to be left on county right-of-way. Site Cleanup: Upon completion of work at each location, the site shall be raked and left in a clean, neat, and safe condition.
