The purpose of this RFP is to solicit written proposals for the hiring of a qualified Respondent or Respondents that can most effectively and cost efficiently provide Child Support Enforcement (CSE) legal services for Title IV-D cases administered through MDHS, Division of Child Support Enforcement (DCSE), an agency of the State of Mississippi. Based upon proposal(s) received, MDHS intends to evaluate and award a contract(s) for the statewide provision of Child Support Enforcement Legal Services for all eighty-two (82) counties in the State of Mississippi based on the MDHS CSE Regions as provided in Attachment G. However, to suit the best interests of the State, MDHS hereby reserves the right to award one (1) or more than one (1) contract to responsive and responsible Respondents to provide CSE legal services regionally as determined by MDHS. Potential Respondents shall submit a single proposal to provide CSE legal services statewide, and on a regional basis based on Attachment G, which MDHS reserves the right to modify with the understanding that any responsive and responsible proposal is subject to further negotiation by MDHS. It is understood that any contract(s) resulting from this RFP will require approval by MDHS, MS Attorney General’s Office, and the MS State Personnel Board. If any contract(s) resulting from this RFP is not approved by MDHS, MS Attorney General’s Office, and MS State Personnel Board, it is void and no contractual agreement shall be executed.
