Pearl River Community College (PRCC), with funding support from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) through the Mississippi Department of Employment Security (MDES) and Southern Mississippi Planning and Development District (SMPDD) is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified Architectural and/or Engineering firms to provide initial design-related services for a facility renovation project. The purpose of this project is to transform existing warehouse space into a workforce training center designed to support regional economic growth through the delivery of technical and foundational workforce education. PRCC intends to pursue additional funding from one or more federal, state, local, and/or private sources including the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Defense, the State of Mississippi, and/or others to support the full design and construction of the proposed facility.
