Airframe/Flight Deck/Instructor Station Represent (Fit/Form/Function) a factory new Cessna 172. Cockpit should have a similar layout to that of a Cessna 172. Movable knobs and switches should function as appropriate to the current year model Cessna 172 aircraft. Not all systems must have movable/interactive knobs/switches, but ones that are interactive should represent how they would work in an aircraft. Control loading should provide force feedback similar to an actual aircraft (certified control loading data is not required) or utilize a high-fidelity Cessna 172 aerodynamics software. Single seat cockpit. Single screen (HDTV) mounted in front of the AATD. Ability to fit through a standard 36-inch door. Electrical power MUST utilize 110/120 VAС. Instructor station with ability to interface through a simple web browser or via an "app" on a smartphone or tablet. Avionics Garmin G1000 NXi avionics system: 1. Must utilize actual Garmin Hardware, OR utilize a Garmin approved/authorized G1000 NXi software. If actual Garmin hardware is not used, proof of licensing with Garmin must be provided. 2. Safetaxi 3. FlightCharts 4. WAAS 5. Flight Path Marker 6. Updatable Databases 7. Ability to interface with tablets using aviation software such as ForeFlight or Garmin Pilot. Software Instructor control software including the ability to simulate failures, weather conditions, position/repositioning, map display, etc. Ability to simulate real world aircraft failures (examples may include electrical, avionics, engine, oil pressure, oil temps, etc.) The instructor will be able to adjust/control the flight environment (density altitude, time of day, weather, visibility, clouds, winds, turbulence, etc.).
