Sealed proposal will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Jackson, Mississippi at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 219 South President Street, P.O. Box 17, Jackson, Mississippi 39205 until 3:30 P.M. CST, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, firm fixed price basis to provide and implement an automatic farebox and ticketing system for its fixed route, paratransit, and future micro-transit pilot services. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to provide, integrate, test, and implement the desired system, supporting software and hardware, which will provide the required functionality. The system shall be built on a proven and secure operating system, database, and application software. The Contractor shall provide support services and train the appropriate City and transit operations contractor personnel to use and maintain the system from a user and system maintenance standpoint. Contractors may submit proposals for “equivalent” solutions from alternative manufacturers, and it is 100% the responsibility of the Contractor to prove that any alternate solutions fully meet or exceed the capabilities power end to end security solution.
