All data designations are marked with wing letter, room number and sequential digit for the number of drops for that location, or similar distinguishable markings. The data circuit is provided via one Siemon Cat 6A UTP, or similar, to correspond to the numeric value at each outlet. Horizontal data cables shall be terminated on rack-mounted 24 port patch panels. Data cables will be punched into rack-mounted patch panel in numeric sequence according to room number and drop number. Horizontal data circuits shall be connected to LAN electronics within each Telecommunications Room (TR). See BOM for cable colors. All cabling located within walls and or ceilings will be CMP rated. Where applicable an XGLO compliant 12 Strand single mode fiber optic backbone cable shall be employed between the data Main Cross-Connect (MC) and each TR for data connectivity.
