Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. CHANNEL SELECTION AND SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE. o The Contract Vendor shall provide all subscription channels offered on the Subscription rate card awarded to the contract without continued interruption. o The Contract Vendor shall not offer and/or deliver any free or promotional programming. o Sufficient notice must be given to the facility before any changes are made in the channel lineup. o On Air Channel Guide lineup to be included with the service provided. The State reserves the right to work with the Contract Vendor to block and/or filter certain channels based on content which may be deemed inappropriate for clients. The blocking of certain channels shall not cause degradation of other channel selections. 2. EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION. All equipment must be installed by the contract vendor, or subcontractor, and must also include all installation and hook up to existing State owned equipment. At the State’s discretion, the State’s qualified personnel may do their own system installation work even though the work may be covered under this Contract. All equipment paid for by the State will become property of the State. All equipment provided by the contract vendor free of charge for providing the service will remain property of the contract vendor. Any equipment installed by the contract vendor free of charge will be identified in their response if the vendor maintains ownership claims. 3. MAINTENANCE. Responders shall provide maintenance services on State owned, and Contract Vendor owned equipment, unless otherwise negotiated with the State, as detailed below: a) Equipment shall be checked for proper operation and the system balanced (to be done two times per year). b) Provide on-site support service during regular business hours (8:00AM to 5:00PM), Monday through Friday. c) Provide replacement parts needed to keep the system operating properly. Additional charge for new equipment may be accepted by the State through a duly executed amendment to the contract.
