Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. The Study is to include physical condition of the site and all buildings including the leased buildings, on the campus, including mechanical and electrical services. Review the current boilers and chillers. Investigate alternative mechanical and electrical systems to incorporate on the campus. b. Review the central mechanical plant, the central dining, central pharmacy, fitness center, craft rooms, wood shop, administration, and storage spaces. c. Improve accessibility on the campus. d. Review the physical security of the buildings. e. Identify areas of phased renovation, expansion, and replacement. Master Plan to include a building program, scope, site planning, schedule, and cost of future phased expansion and renovation to the Veterans Home. f. Review current and future programs and housing options, establishing their needs, priorities, and budget. Review the care delivery spaces. Establish a written program based on evaluation of the campus. g. The Study is to include the Fire, Water, and Earth Path of working with the residents on a direction of either maintaining independent living, Veterans who need mental health support, or Veterans who choose to make MVA their home. Create a healthy, supportive environment to get the Veteran back into society. h. All spaces to be flexible, dependent on how the campus needs and programs are expected to change.
