Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project focuses as a strategic interior renovation of the existing facility which allows the University to maximize the existing facility amenities while meeting the Program requirements. The selected Respondent will be responsible for refining a floor plan layout in Schematic Design based on the developed Program which will align with the established construction budget. The Program includes spaces, but not limited to, Clinical (exam, consult/ therapy, play, observation), Research (observation, testing, computational, labs), MRI Suite, Training Suites, Video Recording Studio, Workspaces (range of private/ shared offices, open workspaces), Collaboration/ Conference Areas, etc… Respondent is to include full demolition and design services with Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding/ Negotiation, Construction Administration and Construction services. Basic services are to include but not limited to, architectural, engineering (including energy modeling), telecommunication/ security, audio-visual (system design), civil, structural, parking (equipment) and cost estimating services based on the illustrated Predesign scope, along with full campus signage package (utilizing the University Standards) and B3 management/ compliance services. The Respondent to submit Additional Services for design/ procurement management services for a furniture/ equipment package (estimated value of $1,670,000). Final details of these Additional Services will be negotiated with Capital Project Management (CPM).
