Specifications include, but are not limited to: Dakota County Social Services is soliciting proposals from interested parties for the purpose of providing
short-term emergency foster care for adults who are homeless or soon to become homeless and are
determined to be unable to safely reside at a shelter or be street homeless. The service provided will be
adult foster care, as defined in Minnesota Rule 9555.5105. However, because individuals needing foster
care will be experiencing a housing crisis, the provider must reserve or set aside a licensed bed(s) to
facilitate a prompt placement. Dakota County would like to secure a provider(s) by Fall 2019.
