Specifications include, but are not limited to: Develop and provide technical assistance specific to providers to of HCBS services. The training and technical assistance should include developing business strategies and processes so that the providers have the tools and skills to improve their quality of service and policy alignment with the HCBS Rule. Provide in-person, one to one technical assistance to a select number of provider organizations. Technical assistance services should be several sessions (e.g. direct phone, in person, written and email communication) Individual provider support will be focused on addressing issues and questions tailored to each provider. Responders, describe how this will be accomplished. Understand the application of the federal Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) rule and be available for training from State or another entity designated by State. Satisfactory completion of the training is required prior to Awarded vendor providing technical assistance and support to HCBS providers. By submitting a proposal, Responders agree to complete the required training prior to providing technical assistance.
