Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Minnesota Department of Human Services, through its Child Safety and Permanency Division (State), is seeking Proposals from qualified Responders to perform analysis of system requirement changes necessary to make the State’s Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) federally-compliant. The selected contractor will provide a complete analysis of the CCWIS. The selected contractor will communicate following a project management plan. In addition, it shall be responsible for providing the following deliverables to summarize its analysis: 1. A needs assessment. 2. A general system requirements analysis. 3. Final recommendations based on results, compliant with 45 C.F.R. §§ 1355.52-1355.54 B. Summary of Scope The purpose of this project is to determine if it will be feasible to incorporate the changes necessary to bring the current SAWCIS into federal-compliance. In addition, a determination will need to be made on the most efficient approach to upgrade SACWIS to meet new federal regulations. This work will lead State staff to an informed decision on whether to proceed, and identify what modifications are necessary to upgrade the current system with the capacity to meet new federal requirements.
